One of the expenses in question is an out-of-state conference called the Virtual School Symposium (VSS), which will be held by the International Association for K-12 Online Learning this November in Phoenix.
In his report to the board, Felix said, “VSS highlights the cutting-edge work with K-12 online education across the country. It is the only national conference focused solely on K-12 online learning and virtual schools in such a comprehensive way.” Besides Felix, Coronado High School Principal Karl Mueller and Palm Academy Principal Kevin Nicolls will also attend.
