High school students in the Redlands Unified School District may have more options in the future when it comes to improving their grades.
This summer, the district piloted an online credit recovery program that allowed students who received a D in a core subject class to retake the course online, said John Massie, principal of Alternative Education.
“They could work on their own at home, but had to come in to take proctored exams in our computer lab,” Massie said. “They each had scheduled time one hour per week when they had to come into the lab. Most students came in two times a week.”
